Equivocal and ambiguity. Artwork that blurs and crosses the line of demarcation between traditional art techniques and digital graphic design. From graffiti art and illustration, to vector graphics and rasterized images, through digital and traditional photography, the fusion of these contrasting elements would be a reflection of my self and a representation of my surroundings and how I see them.

Legal Wall @ YSS

I initiated a Legal Wall at YSS where I am currently teaching. The idea came about after witnessing students actually doodling under void decks of flats after school. I proposed the legal wall to the principal. I wanted the legal wall as an avenue for students to be able to express their creativity in a legal way and at the same time allowing their works to be shared and appreciated by other students. With the school principal and vice-principals' approval the LEGAL WALL @ YSS was officially launched (soft launch) on 12 July 2007.

Graffiti at Tanglin Shopping Centre

Lil Pink Devil had a graffiti demonstration at Tanglin Shopping Centre in conjunction with the Street Art Festival 2007. Lil Pink Devil invited me to paint with him. Painted with him over two weekends. I invited my student, Fadzly who is keen on graffiti to join us. I wanted to give him a chance to learn and have a hands on experience using a spraycan. Many thanks to Lil Pink Devil. Check out Lil Pink Devil at http://www.lilpinkdevil.blogspot.com

Photos below are of the first weekend. Will upload photos from the following week soon.

YSS Sports and Artz Carnival 2007

Ok..the photos of the Sports and Artz Carnival are up>>Sports and Artz Carnival Pics

Yishun Secondary School had their 2007 Sports and Artz Carnival at the Yishun Stadium. Unlike traditional sports day where students usually participated in track and field events, YSS adpoted a carnival like event which did not only include sports like 7 a-side football and floorball, but incorporated a cheer and dance competition. Also not forgetting the graffiti art competition and demo sessions (where I thought that I would die from aerosol inhilation). But I had loads of fun on the day though and I am sure all those at the stadium had their share of fun too. Cheers!
